Letter from the Executive Director
Welcome to our new website and thank you for your interest in St. Joseph’s School for the Blind’s programs and services for individuals with special needs!
It is my hope that our new site will bring our mission and programs to life. The virtual tour of our school was designed to provide parents of prospective students with the ability to see our state-of-the-art facility and campus from the comfort of their homes. We have added photos and bios of our Trustees, as well as photos and contact information for our leadership team members to properly introduce and connect you to those best-positioned to answer your questions. We have also redesigned our News page to include photos with each article, resulting in more engaging updates for frequent visitors to our site. Finally, we have updated and expanded the information about our programs for infants, toddlers, children and adults with disabilities, as well as information about ways you can support us.
Before you leave our site, I encourage you to read our mission statement and core values to see how the principles of our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, continue to guide our work and ensure that everyone at St. Joseph’s School for the Blind is treated with dignity and respect.
