J. Scott Beresford

J. Scott Beresford is a Senior Vice President and Team Leader with Fulton Bank. As Team Leader, he’s responsible for expanding the bank’s commercial business in Northern NJ. Scott brings over 35 years of experience in banking and community service, having held positions in retail banking and commercial banking, including several positions in senior management positions. Prior to joining Fulton Bank, Scott had served as Senior Vice President of TD Bank and as an EVP, Senior Lending Officer for De Novo Bank in Cranford NJ. Scott also served as a Senior Vice President in Commercial Lending with The Bank of Princeton, Vice President at Synergy Bank in Cranford, N.J., and various management positions in retail and commercial banking for Summit Bank/Fleet Bank.

Currently, Scott serves as Treasurer for the Board of Trustees bringing his banking knowledge to the Finance/Investment Committee at St. Joseph’s School for the Blind. For the past 11 years he has served on the Board of Trustees at St. Joseph’s. Scott is a 1987 graduate of the University of Hartford where he received a B.S.B.A degree majoring in Economics and Finance.
